Sex Slave

In BDSM, a sex slave usually refers to a consensual relationship based on power exchange in which a submissive grants a Dominant authority over their sexual decisions or sexual activity. The scope of this authority varies between dynamics, but the defining feature is that the power exchange primarily centers on the sexual domain. In some cases, this authority applies only during scenes or specific contexts. In others, such as certain forms of 24/7 power exchange, the Dominant may have ongoing authority over aspects of the submissive’s sexual life. Some people call themselves sex slaves even if their partner does not control all areas of their life. In these cases, the power exchange focuses mainly on sexual decisions and activities. Others may use the term sex slave when their motivation for entering a slave dynamic is primarily sexual, even if their relationship otherwise resembles a full 24/7 M/s structure.
