Fluffing

Fluffing is the act of manually stimulating someone’s genitals—most commonly the penis—either before sexual activity or during breaks. The goals is to help keep them aroused, or at least partially hard and ready to continue. The term comes from the pornography industry (though real “fluffers” were far less common than the myth suggests). Today it’s used more broadly to describe keeping someone “ready” in situations like group sex, gangbangs, or orgies where participants may need to wait their turn or pause between rounds. The meaning of fluffing has also expanded. In some group-sex settings, it now includes any supportive activity that helps keep participants aroused, focused, or able to keep going, even if it’s not directly sexual. Examples include bringing water, fanning someone, wiping sweat, offering encouragement, giving erotic commentary, or posing in a sexy way. A fluffer is a person who performs these fluffing activities. They help maintain other people's arousal or readiness but do not necessarily take part in the sexual acts themselves.
