Cosbied

Cosbied is a slang term used to describe sexual activity involving a person who is unconscious, drugged, or portrayed as unconscious. It is most often used in reference to non-consensual scenarios, or situations where consent is unclear. The term comes from the public allegations against Bill Cosby involving drugging and sexually assaulting unconscious women. Because of this origin, the word carries strong negative associations with sexual assault and abuse. In porn and online fetish content, cosbied is sometimes used as a search term or label for scenes where a person appears asleep, drugged, or unable to respond. This is often done to avoid platform bans on words like “unconscious” or “sleep,” and it is rarely clear whether the situation shown is consensual roleplay or real exploitation. In rare cases, some people use the term to describe pre-negotiated roleplay, where a person agrees in advance to be portrayed as unconscious. Even within kink communities, this is highly controversial, since an unconscious person cannot actively give or withdraw consent, and observers cannot tell consent from abuse.
