-Ussy is a suffix used in portmanteau with a variety of other words to mean "(word)-pussy." This is used to either indicate something that looks or reminds one of a vulva/vagina (pussy), that is used as one, or that has one or should have one. It has more broadly become a way to sexualize just about anything and slyly deem it "fuckable." ### Origins of the Term The -ussy suffix likely emerged in the early 2000s in queer communities, then spread to Tumbr, Twitter, and TikTok. From there, it has most often been used for comedic effect to sexualize everyday nouns. -Ussy was named the American Dialect Society's word of the year for 2022. Some common sex/kink-related -ussy terms include: - Bussy: Butt/asshole - Thrussy: Throat - Manussy: Men's genital/anal region - Clussy: Clown “pussy” - Gussie: “guy pussy” (similar to manussy/bussy) - Musussy: Mustache area, or masculine-coded “ussy” The use of these terms have fallen off, but some still appear in social media and other online forums.
