Sexuationship

A sexuationship is an ongoing sexual arrangement between two people where there is no romantic relationship, emotional commitment, or expectation of becoming a couple. The connection is about sex only. People in a sexuationship may be single, married, or partnered. The defining feature is that their connection is limited to sex, with minimal friendship and little to no interaction outside of that context. This is often by design. There is typically no expectation that the relationship will progress in any way beyond having sex. Sexuationships differ from: - Situationships, which often involve emotional or romantic ambiguity. - Friends with benefits, which usually includes an established friendship. A sexuationship is usually characterized by clear (or implied) boundaries, low emotional involvement, and an intentional focus on sex—and nothing else!
