Bunny

Bunny usually refers to an individual who is interested in pet play and/or regression to assume the identity of a rabbit and engage in bunny play. At its core, bunny aesthetics emphasize softness and innocence. They emulate rabbit-like behaviors, like hopping, nuzzling, sniffing, and nibbling. Bunnies often crouch low, twitch or tuck their nose, and may thump or freeze when startled (mimicking prey instincts). Bunny play tends to be energetic and affectionate – think gentle hops, playful jumping onto laps, grooming motions, or nudging for attention. Like cats, bunnies may use collars and leashes in scenes, but kittens often pair them with a sassy look whereas bunnies combine collars with gentle fabrics, pastels, and/or knits to highlight their timid sweetness. The bunny role and bunny play, similar to kitten play, can have its own signals. A bunny might be trained to “hop” to someone’s lap or to approach quietly. While formal “training” is less documented for bunnies, Handlers often use gentle coaxing, such as “come here” gestures and rewarding calm behavior. Bunnies are generally submissive in demeanor. They are often shy, affectionate, and easily soothed, but become playful and curious once they feel safe. Bunny-submissives tend to draw out a protective, nurturing type of Dominant, such as a gentle Handler or Caretaker-style owner. Common pairings include dynamics like “timid bunny and protective caretaker” or “flirty bunny and teasing owner.” For example, a bunny might have a Daddy Dom who treats her tenderly, offering reassurance and gentle guidance when she’s startled or uncertain. Bunny play often pairs naturally with soft, nurturing Dominant roles—a Mommy, Daddy, or caregiver figure who provides comfort, cuddles, and sweet encouragement.
