Triad

A triad is a romantic or sexual relationship involving three people, where all members are connected to one another in some way. Also called a “throuple,” a triad can take many forms, but it usually involves mutual consent, emotional intimacy, and/or physical connection between all three individuals. Triads are common in polyamorous and non-monogamous circles, and can also include kink dynamics like D/s or shared power exchange. ### Types of Triads A triad may be closed (exclusive to the three members) or open (allowing outside partners).
