Switchtress

A switchtress is a person who enjoys and actively engages in both dominant and submissive roles, but who has a strong, confident, or traditionally “Top-leaning” presence even when they switch. The term is often used by femme-identified people, though some may adapt it to fit their own gender expression. The meaning of “switchtress” varies by person and is often defined through lived experience rather than fixed rules. A switchtress generally: - Enjoys both topping and bottoming, sometimes within the same relationship, scene, or over time. - Tends to have commanding, intentional, or dominant energy, even when they choose to submit. - Aren't necessarily 50/50.
