As a relationship and play role, the Teacher/student dynamic can be a relationship type that reenacts upon the power dynamic between a Teacher and student as they would have existed in a person's youth. This type of play is generally done as a fantasy. The term student is, however, also used to signify a person learning in an educational event from a teacher. In this case, there is generally no dynamic between the student and teacher besides the exchange of knowledge from the teacher to the student.
