Soft Bottom

A soft bottom is usually a person who prefers gentler, less intense forms of play. They may enjoy affection, light power exchange, or emotional connection over heavy pain, strict control, or high-intensity scenes. A bottom refers to the receiving role in a scene. This is not always the same as being submissive. Soft bottoms may or may not engage in power exchange dynamics. Soft bottoms often gravitate toward: - Light bondage or restraint. - Praise, reassurance, or affectionate dynamics. - Lighter impact play, or sensation play over impact or pain. - Slower, more relaxed scenes. People may prefer this style for the comfort, emotional safety, and connection it provides, or because it aligns better with their physical or psychological limits.
