Polyandrous traditionally refers to someone following a type of polygamy in which a woman has multiple husbands simultaneously. This practice is distinct from polygyny, where a man has multiple wives, and from polyamory, which involves multiple consensual romantic relationships without necessarily involving marriage. In a kink context, polyandry can refer to a consensual dynamic where one woman has multiple male partners. These relationships may include a Dominant/submissive (D/s) or erotic power exchange framework. The connections can be romantic, sexual, or both.
