Playtoy

A playtoy is usually someone who offers themselves to be used for another person’s enjoyment during a scene. The focus is on objectification, availability, and surrender. The playtoy exists primarily for the pleasure, amusement, or experimentation of their partner. A playtoy may be directed how to move, pose, react, or remain still, and often has little or no control over what happens during the scene. The appeal is usually psychological, centering on being wanted, used, or treated as a thing rather than a person. This role can be playful, affectionate, degrading, or intense, depending on the dynamic. It may overlap with objectification play, power exchange, service, or humiliation, but it does not require pain or sexual activity. Because the role involves reduced agency, careful negotiation, clear boundaries, and aftercare are especially important.
