Knight

A knight is a devoted, protective role who embodies ideals of honor, loyalty, courage, and service. It is usually a bottom role but can also be a Top depending on the dynamic. The power dynamic with this role is often considered to be less intense than a typical submissive or Dominant role as the knight is more of a protector or servant. A person who identifies as a knight role might embody these elements: - Servitude and loyalty: Much like a medieval knight swore fealty to a lord or lady, the submissive in this role might pledge their loyalty and service to their dominant partner. This can involve carrying out tasks or following orders as a form of devotion. - Protection: The paradox of the knight submissive is that even though they tend to be submissive, they still tend to embody the protective nature of a knight. They would defend and honor their dominant partner even while submitting to their will. This reflects the chivalric ideal of serving and protecting one's liege. - Vulnerability and trust: The act of submission inherently requires a deep sense of trust and vulnerability. In this roleplay, the knight places their trust in their dominant partner to take care of them, just as a knight trusts their liege. - Honor and respect: The submissive's conduct is guided by a code of honor, similar to the medieval concept of chivalry.
