A kink dispenser is a term used to refer to someone who's treated like a vending machine for kinks: Basically, reduced to just dishing out (or having dished out to them) specific fetishes or acts without any real consideration for their own desires, boundaries, emotions, or the human connection that makes kink meaningful. It's all about objectification and a one-way street, where one person sees the other purely as a tool for their gratification, ignoring mutual consent, reciprocity, or building a genuine dynamic. It first appeared in Urban Dictionary in 2022, and online references don't appear to go farther back than 2021. The term was first used on FetLife that same year. ### Examples of Treating Someone Like a Kink Dispenser - A Dom might be treated like a kink dispenser when a sub demands scenes or acts without caring about the Dom's headspace, limits, or aftercare needs. - A sub could be treated like a kink dispenser if a Dom just pushes their kinks onto them, treating the sub like a blank canvas or object without checking in on comfort, consent, or emotional well-being. ### Safety & Consent When someone treats you like a kink dispenser, it's a red flag for unhealthy interactions, often popping up online where people forget there's a whole person on the other side, although this is also a common problem in real life.
