Feminization

Feminization, also sometimes associated with sissification in some contexts, is a form of play where someone who does not usually present or identify in a feminine way explores feminine gender expression. This may be done by another person during play, or by the individual themselves. The process of feminization could include shaving off body hair, applying makeup, choosing cute lingerie or an apron to wear, etc. but can vary in form or execution. Feminization can include the encouragement of personality traits, behavious, and demeanors associated with high femme, or those associated with mainstream feminine gender presentation. Feminization can be done with people of all gender identities, but is associated with removing masculine associated behaviors and presentations. This could include - A cisgender butch woman being put through "finishing school". - A cisgender man/gender fluid person "becoming a femboy". - A transgender person using exposure therapy to become more comfortable and confident with feminine presentation. - A cisgender man experiencing humiliation through being "forcibly" feminized by playing on societal expectations. Some people feminize as an early-transition method to explore their gender identity. Others are comfortable in their cisgender identity and simply like to be feminized for sexual pleasure or humiliation.
