Comet Partner

In polyamorous or non-monogamous relationships, a comet partner is a romantic and/or sexual partner who is seen infrequently, but with whom a deep and meaningful connection is typically maintained. In the same way that a comet passes Earth only occasionally, these partners see each other in person irregularly (for any number of reasons), but the connection is special.
